How to Make a Baby Shower Footprint Invitation

A cute idea for baby shower invitations is a baby's footprint.

To make a homemade footprint invitation a person simply uses their hand. With the hand in a fist the side of the fist near the pinky finger is inked and then stamped on the paper. Then with the pinkie finger five small toes are made. This makes an image that looks very similar to a baby footprint.

Some possible invitation styles include the following:

• Traditional black footprints
• Colors like blue and pink to represent the gender of the baby
• Square invitations with the footprint on the front
• Invitations in the shape of the footprint
